Goods entering and transiting the United States must have an HTS Code
According to the latest requirements of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), starting from November 27, 2017, all goods entering and transiting the United States must provide a commodity customs tariff code (HTS Code).
Please be sure to provide the HTS code (first 6 digits) corresponding to the relevant goods when sending the bill of lading information. Failure to provide this information in a timely manner for goods may result in fines from CBP or delays in customs clearance of the goods.
